Al-Ghayb (The Unknown)
Al-Ghayb (The Unknown) Muhammad Ash-Mitwalli Sha`râwî (1911 - 1998) (rahimahullaah)
He was known for his simple and sweet style in explaining the verses of the Qur'an. His insistence on the issues relating to faith made its closest speech heart of his audience, especially near his words were addressed to all intellectual levels, from the simplest of mind to most scholars.
This is the Sheikh Muhammad Ash-Mitwalli Sha`râwî, the most famous exegete of the Qur'an twentieth century.
The invisible world is all that exists, but that we can not perceive. The GAYB term is more comprehensive and more accurate than its French equivalent, because it includes the idea of absence. That is to say that all that is part of the visible world, but that is far from our senses, so absent, is also part of GAYB. All that we can identify by sight, hearing, smell or touch therefore not part of the invisible world. If we carefully observe the world around us, we find that the perceptible realities are very minimal compared to those we do not have access. Even if we feel to know many things, the invisible world is much more extensive, richer and more populous. The invisible world extends to the realities that we live every day, but we can not control.
